The top 10 full-member teams from the 2023 Under-19 World Cup—India, England, Australia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and the West Indies—have secured direct qualification. For the second straight time, the United States of America has received automatic qualification as the only team in the Americas region to meet the criteria required for the qualification pathway.

Regional Qualifiers:

East Asia-Pacific – In May 2024, Samoa became the first team to qualify through the regional pathway, topping the 4-team competition with 5 wins and just one loss. This marked the first time a Samoan team has qualified for a World Cup in any format, at any age level, in both men’s and women’s cricket.

Europe – In August 2024, the national women’s teams of Scotland and the Netherlands faced off in a three-match T20 series. Scotland dominated throughout, securing a clean sweep with a 10-wicket win in the first T20, a 6-wicket win in the second, and a 64-run victory in the third. With these commanding performances, Scotland advanced to the main event.

Africa – In August 2024, Malawi and Kenya, with 6 and 5 wins respectively from six games, topped the 7-team competition, securing their spots in Division 1. The final leg of the regional qualifier will take place from September 22 to 29, 2024. The 8 competing teams are divided into two groups: Group A includes Kenya, Namibia, Rwanda, and Uganda, while Group B features Malawi, Nigeria, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe. The final, scheduled for September 29, will determine the 15th team to qualify for the main event.
