No direct qualification for Indian Women’s team in World Cup 2017

In an unfortunate incident, women in blue have lost all the hopes to make a direct qualification in the Women’s World Cup 2017. This comes amidst the news that ICC’s Technical committee has awarded full points to the Pakistan Women’s cricket team for the three-match series that was canceled pertaining the India-Pakistan tensions since last few months. This has allowed West Indies women’s cricket team a direct entry which had 19 points in the table.
