Sri Lanka and Ireland stars earn a decent rise in the latest ODI Rankings.
The Asian T20 champions, Sri Lanka, led by skipper Chamari Athapaththu toured Ireland for a two-match T20I series followed by a three-match ODI series from 11th August 2024 and concluded on 20th August. Netherlands women led by skipper Babette de Leede hosted, Scotland and Papua New Guinea for a tri-series that includes a six-match ODI series and then a two-match T20I series.

The Indian vice-captain Smriti Mandhana has climbed up one spot to the 3rd position (738 points). Ashleigh Gardner from Australia has climbed up one spot to the 15th position (570 points). The 22-year-old all-rounder from Ireland Orla Prendergast had an impressive series with the bat in the recently concluded ODI series. She scored 134 runs in three innings, including one unbeaten century in the first ODI. She played a crucial role in helping her side seal a historic ODI series win against Sri Lanka.
