Match 1: Netherlands vs Ireland Women

On 8th August, Netherlands Women locked horns with Ireland Women in the first game of the Women’s T20I Quadrangular series being held in the Netherlands. Ireland Women registered a huge 79 runs win over the hosts. Winning the toss and electing to bowl first, Netherlands got a target of 170 runs in 20 overs. In reply, Netherlands batters could manage only 90 runs in allotted 20 overs quota. Irish all-rounder Eimear Richardson shined with both bat and ball as she remained unbeaten on 63 and also took two wickets. Wicketkeeper batter Babette de Leede was the highest scorer (50) for Netherlands Women.

Match 2: Scotland vs Thailand Women

Thailand Women faced Scotland Women in the second match of the day. Batting first after winning the toss, Thai Women made 129/3 in allotted 20 overs. Chasing 130, the entire Scotland Women team was wrapped up on 55 runs in 15.4overs. Thai opener Nattakan Chantam was the highest scorer of the match as she remained unbeaten on 60 from 49 balls while Onnicha Kamchomphu removed four Scottish batters by conceding just eight runs in her four overs. Thailand Women won the match by 74 runs.
