Josiane Nyirankundineza

In her 42 T20 International (T20I) appearances, the 23-year-old has taken 34 wickets with an economy rate of 4.75 and achieved her best performance with figures of 3/0. In the inaugural edition of the tournament earlier this year, Josaine accumulated 75 runs and secured 2 wickets in 5 outings.

Alice Ikuzwe

In her 51 T20I outings, the 24-year-old has scored 348 runs and has also picked up 18 wickets. Her highest score stands at 38*, and her best bowling figures are 3/3. In the inaugural edition, Alice finished as the leading run-scorer and wicket-taker, amassing 121 runs and scalping 8 wickets from 5 outings.

Belyse Murekatete

The 19-year-old has featured in T20I cricket for both the Under-19 and Senior teams of Rwanda. Belyse, in 36 T20Is, has chipped in scoring 139 runs and bagging 32 wickets. She also had an excellent run in the last edition, leading the charts with 103 runs and 11 wickets in 5 games.

Cynthia Uwera

The 18-year-old was a part of Rwanda’s U-19 squad that toured South Africa for the inaugural U-19 women’s T20 World Cup earlier this year. On the tour, she recorded figures of 0/12 (2), 0/11 (2), and 0/31 (3) against Pakistan, Zimbabwe, and England, respectively. Cynthia then impressed in the competition, taking 5 wickets in as many games at an economy rate of 3.61.

The Gahanga International Cricket Stadium dishes a well-balanced center wicket that features a fair contest with both bat and ball. It offers favorable conditions for both spinners and pacers to excel. Batters also find delight in the pitch, with an average score in the 120s.
