Bio:
Ayesha Zafar, born in Pakistan in 1994, played cricket from a young age. This right-handed batter sharpened her skills playing for domestic teams like Karachi and Sindh. Ayesha’s international career began just a few months prior to the World Twenty20. On October 24, 2015, she made her WODI debut against the West Indies in Gros Islet. Just five days later, she took the field for her WT20I debut against the same team in St George. These early matches marked the beginning of Ayesha’s journey on the international stage.
Ayesha’s cricketing story continued to unfold. Three years after her World Twenty20 appearance, she was selected for the Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier tournament in Zimbabwe in October 2021. Each match presented a new challenge for Ayesha. It was an opportunity to overcome limited opportunities and showcase her skills.
