Most recently The Nagaland Cricket Association announced the commencement of the 2nd edition of the Women’s Champions Trophy which will span from the 5th to the 10th of June.

The 22-yard strips of The Nagaland Cricket Stadium and Sovima Cricket Association will play as the two venues, with the finals scheduled on the 10th in the form of a day-night game at the Nagaland Cricket Stadium.

There’ll be six teams rallying for the elusive Title, namely; Saramati Warriors, Tiyi Strikers, Japfü Dazzlers, Terogvu Titans, Pauna Queens, and Puliebadze Slingers. The tournament comes at a time when there’s a crucial need for the women’s cricketing vertical in Nagaland to convert raw talent into premium performances and exceptional experiences.

This intra-state affair will witness the cream of the players battling it out with their resourceful techniques and mindset. New superstars are queued to emerge after this competition, thus setting on a path to steering Nagaland Women’s cricket into a phase of development and expansion.
