Fairbreak XI will tour Netherlands for a three-match T20 series that will be played from August 31 to September 2 at the VRA ground in Amstelveen. All the matches will start at 6.30PM IST. Just before traveling to the Netherlands, Fairbreak XI locked horns against Scotland in the latter’s backyard for a three-match T20 series. The series was drawn 1-1 with the first match getting cancelled. On the other hand, Netherlands hosted Namibia for a six-match T20I series in June-July this year, which the hosts won 3-2.

Coming back to Fairbreak XI’s tour of Netherlands, the first T20 of the three-match series will be played on August 31 at the VRA ground in Amstelveen and it will start at 6.30 PM IST.

Mariko Hill: 

The all-rounder from Hong Kong will represent Fairbreak XI. She is a right-handed batter and a right arm medium pace bowler. She has the experience of playing 29 T20Is, in which she has scored 494 runs, including one half-century, and has scalped 17 wickets, including the best of 14/3. 

Kerry-Anne Tomlinson: 

She is a right-handed batter and a right arm leg spinner, who will feature for Fairbreak XI. She has played four ODIs in 2011 and after that has not featured at the international level. To her name, she has 77 runs and a couple of wickets. At present, she plays domestic cricket in New Zealand.

Iris Zwilling: 

She is a right-handed batter and a right arm seamer from the Netherlands. She has been playing international cricket since 2019 and has featured in 27 T20Is and three ODIs. This bowling all-rounder has claimed 27 wickets in as many T20I innings, including the best of 11/3 and with the bat has 109 runs in 16 T20I innings.

Robine Rijke: 

She is a right-handed batter from the Netherlands, who has been a part of 31 T20Is. She has mustered 345 runs in 29 innings, including the best of 43. Apart from her batting, she can roll her arm over to bowl right arm medium pace. She is one of the most experienced players in the side.

Pitch

The venue has hosted 10 women’s T20Is so far. The teams batting first have won four matches and the teams batting second have won six matches. The highest total achieved here is 146 and the lowest is 43. Expect a hard and new surface which will assist the batters.

The weather is expected to be nice with partial sunshine. The maximum temperature attained during the day could be 23 degrees Celsius. The expected cloud cover will be 37 percent with just three percent chance of rain. The wind will blow from the north-east.
