The semi-finals of the Asian Cricket Council Women’s T20 Championship, 2022 were played on June 24th. Semi-Final one was played between UAE and Nepal and the second between Malaysia and Hong-Kong. The ACC began on June 17th and now is in the final leg. Both the semi-finals were played at Kinrara Academy Oval, Kuala Lumpur.
Semi-Final 1: Nepal Vs UAE
Nepal won the toss and elected to field first in the first semi-final game of the ACC Women’s T20 Championship 2022. Ashmina Karmacharya took a fiery 5-wicket haul for just 10 runs in her bowling spell and her outstanding performance restricted the UAE women for 81 runs sending back the whole team back to the pavilion. Vaishnave Mahesh was the highest run-scorer for UAE in the match scoring 16 runs off 11 deliveries. The match was abandoned eventually before Nepal’s batting and UAE women advanced to the finals of the ACC Women’s T20 Championship after topping the group stage.

Semi-Final 2: Malaysia Vs Hong-Kong
Hong-Kong women won the toss and elected to field first at the second semi-finals game. Malaysia women put up a total of 86 runs for the loss of 4 wickets with Mas Elysa scoring an unbeaten 33 off 24 balls. Maryam Bibi took 2 wickets for 23 runs for the Hong-Kong team. Hong-Kong batting was swept away for 74 runs for the loss of 8 wickets with the highest score of 19 runs by skipper Kary Chan. Sasha Azmi and Nik Nur Atiela picking 2 wickets each. Malaysia advanced to the finals.

The finals of the ACC Women’s T20 Championship’22 will be played on 25th June, 2022 at the Kinrara Academy Oval, Kuala Lumpur at 12:30 pm IST.
