1st T20

After winning the toss hosts elected to bat first. Openers of the side Sidra and Javeria failed to give a start after being bowled by Alam and latter being caught by Lata again surrendering to Alam. Then came down the captain Bismah Maroof with Umaima on the other side made a 50 run partnership to give the innings some stability and taking it forward which ended after a while, middle-order suffered and batsmen down the order contributed in single digits except Iram and Sidra scoring 21 and 16 runs respectively, Jahanara helped Bangladesh stop Pakistan at just 126 runs by taking 4 wickets to her name out of 7. Chasing a low score the batsmen of Bangladesh didn’t justify their roles as they managed to chase only 112 runs by the end of 20 overs in which again the openers Shamima and Ayasha failed to score and wickets broke in abundance, Rumana Ahmed who fought like a lone warrior put up her half-century in a pressure situation but couldn’t help the side to win due to lack of support. Pakistani bowlers contributed equally and clinched victory by 14 runs. The player of the match was grabbed by skipper Bismah for her all-round contribution.
