Madhya Pradesh's Kranti Goud was roped in by the UP Warriorz for the
WPL 2025.
She made an immediate impact, dismissing Meg Lanning in her
debut match.
That season, she picked up 6
wickets from 8 games, leaving a
strong impression.
Her best figures of 4/25 made her
the second-youngest player to
take a four-wicket haul in the league.
Called-up as an injury replacement, Kranti earned her ODI debut in May 2025 against Sri Lanka.
Just two months later, in July, she
made her T20I debut during India's
tour of England 2025.
Her real breakthrough came in the
third ODI against England in
July 2025, where she returned a sensational 6/52 in a must-win.
With that performance, she became only the third Indian to take a
six-wicket haul in ODIs against
England in England.
On August 19, 2025, when India announced their squad for the World Cup, Kranti’s meteoric rise was rewarded with a well-deserved spot.
