Mumbai Indians won the toss and opted to field first

Skipper Smriti Mandhana (26 off 13) gave RCB a blazing start, forming a 29-run opening stand with Danni Wyatt-Hodge (9).

RCB soon collapsed to 57/4 before Ellyse Perry (81 off 43) steadied the innings, alongisde Richa Ghosh (28), powering RCB to a competitive 167/7.

For Mumbai, Amanjot Kaur (3/22) starred with a brilliant three-wicket haul, while Shabnim Ismail (1/36) effectively curtailed the scoring rate.

Mumbai Indians lost Yastika Bhatia early, but Hayley Matthews (15) and Nat Sciver-Brunt (42 off 21) combined for a crucial 57-run partnership.

Harmanpreet anchored the chase with a composed 50, while Amanjot (34*) and G Kamalini (11*) sealed the win off the penultimate ball.

Georgia Wareham’s excellent 3/21 and Kim Garth’s 2/30 kept RCB in contention, but it wasn’t enough to halt Mumbai’s momentum.

With back-to-back wins, Mumbai Indians climbed 2nd on the table, while RCB remains at the top.
