Shweta Sehrawat was a notch above the rest in this tournament. Scoring 297 runs at an almost Bradmansque average of 99, she struck at 139.43. Raking up three half centuries, she displayed her prolific form in all her outings. Her unbeaten 92* in the first game of the tournament set the precedent of what to expect and she did not disappoint since.

Grace Scrivens- England (293 runs)
It would be an understatement to call Grace Scrivens an MVP as she not just contributed with the ball but also was instrumental with the bat. Scoring 293 runs at an average of 41.85, she struck at 129.07. With three half-centuries under her belt, she was at her best throughout the tournament. Hitting a staggering 38 boundaries, she struck six maximums and was impressive.

Shafali Verma- India (172 runs)
Perhaps one of the batters who had a quiet World Cup but still managed to make it to the highest run-getters list is Shafali Verma. Scoring 172 runs at an average of 24.57, she was still impactful with her strike rate of 193.25 and gave India the strongest starts. With a high score of 78, she scored 26 boundaries while also smacking seven sixes. She led India admirably from the front and this will always be a cherished World Cup for her, for many reasons.

Eyman Fatima- Pakistan (157 runs)
Eyman Fatima certainly was a bright spot in Pakistan’s campaign this World Cup scoring 157 runs at an admirable average of 52.33. With a high score of 65*, her strike rate of 126.61 coupled with her elegance and poise really makes her a batter to watch out for in the future. With two 50s, she bailed Pakistan out when needed and infused a sense of positivity and confidence in the batting.

Georgia Plimmer- New Zealand (155 runs)
In the six innings that Georgia Plimmer featured in, she scored 155 runs at an average of 51.66 and was impressive with a strike rate of 143.51. Scoring a fifty in the tournament, she batted with ease and precision in the powerplay oozing class. She bailed New Zealand whenever the situation got difficult and was crucial in their campaign till the semi-finals.
