Book “Rising Spell in Women’s Cricket” is set to release soon

The team which lacked the killer instinct in 2005 came all guns blazing in the 2017 edition of Cricket’s mega event, The World Cup. The star-studded performance by the Indian Women’s Cricket Team was lauded and watched by millions across the world. Although team India missed the title by a meagre margin, the team led by Mithali Raj was appreciated and rewarded for their undying spirit.

This success is a part of the larger story. It is high time we take up the challenge of developing next generation of female cricketers, nurture them and build a strong pool for upcoming series. It is therefore important to celebrate our current players by spreading their success story which in turn will inspire more and more girls to take up cricket and excel in the sport. And what better way than to release a book and highlight these spirited stories in it.

Author Mukta Goyal presents the gist of her upcoming book in a poetic way.
