Preview 3rd T20I Women’s Ashes – Predictions, Dream XI Probable Squad

Australian Women’s Team lead the three match T20I series by 2-0 ahead of the third match to be played at Bristol on Wednesday.

The second T20I that was played at Hove, saw Australia beat England comfortably. England after winning the toss opted to bat first but things didn’t go their way as they kept losing wickets at regular interval. Ellyse Perry striked in her very first over for Australia setting the tempo for yet another Australian win. England could only manage 121 runs from their 20 overs. In reply to England’s score Australia were 41 for the loss of 3 wickets at the seventh over mark. After that England just could not get through the pair of Australian captain Meg Lanning and the star allrounder Ellyse Perry both of them scoring unbeaten 40s to take the Australian team home, as well as winning the series irrespective of the result of final T20 to be played in Bristol.

The England Women’s team are in spot of bother regarding form of many important players and will have to play out of their skin to challenge the rampaging Australian team.

Players to watch out for (fantasy players)

Ellyse Perry

With her all round abilities she has helped her team win the last two matches, she is vital cog in this team bowling upfront while also being the sound batsmen when in need of crisis. The unbeaten 47 in the second T20I was a prime example of why she is considered the most valuable player in this team.

Meg Lanning

After playing the world record knock in the first match, she played a calm inning in the second T20 match making sure her team doesn’t lose any other wicket and will also take home the ashes T20I series. Meg would be looking forward to make use of the great form that she is in and complete a white wash on English soil.

Sophie Ecclestone

The only England player to have had any impact on the last game on the last two games has been Sophie.   She has been the pick of the bowlers for England and would be itching to make a match winning contribution for the team.

 Prediction: –

The Australian Women’s team is most likely to win the last and final T20I of the 3 match series and winning the series 3-0. They have consistently outperformed their counterparts in every department. England Women’s team at this moment have no answers and have lot of thinking to be done. It would be nothing less than a miracle if England Women’s team go on to beat the Australian women’s team with the kind of form they are in. Australian women’s team would want to leave the English shores without losing any game on this tour. While England on the other hand would be trying their best to avoid a whitewash.
